Chilli Paneer is one of the most popular and loved vegetarian Indo-Chinese dish, usually served as a starter.

Non fried paneer, no use of refined flour or any sort of refined carbs is my take on the healthier version of Chilli Paneer without compromising on its taste. And that’s the reason it’s my absolute favorite.

Paneer and sauces that we have added release sufficient oil so there’s no actual need for adding extra oil in this recipe.

The byadgi red chillies that I’ve used here are not spicy but added just to give a bright red colour to the recipe so you can safely add the mentioned quantity. You can use byadgi or kashmiri red chillies.

Also, replace paneer with baby corns, mushrooms, tofu and replace honey with sugar for a vegan adaptation.

Ingredients:

Direction:

  • Soak the byadgi red chillies in hot water for about 15-20 mins. Then grind it into a fine paste without adding too much water.

  • Now add the red chilli paste and a bit of water just to prevent ingredients from sticking to the pan. Stir fry on low-medium heat for 3-4 mins.
