Corn Chaat is a popular lip-smacking street style snacks, typically enjoyed during rains. This chaat can be made in innumerable ways and you can use the best of your imagination to add variations to the versatile corn for making recipes out of it.

Corn contains valuable B vitamins, essential minerals such as zinc, magnesium, copper, iron and manganese. It has high fiber content and aids digestion. Sweet Corn contains good amounts of lutein and zeaxanthin, two phytochemicals that promote healthy vision.

My recipe of Corn Chaat is inspired from a street style version that I had few years back. This chaat is minimally spiced and the dominant flavour of salted butter and pepper to the sweet corns taste heavenly. I have added chopped raw onions to the partially boiled and spiced corn kernels for the crunch and flavour. This quick recipe dish is a perfectly healthy choice to enjoy during monsoons.
